Patrick Gavoty

Patrick Gavoty is Partner & Head of Sustainability at Apheon, a midcap pan-European private equity fund (with a current portfolio of 20 companies across Europe, representing a group of more than €2.0 billion sales and 18,000 employees). As Head of Sustainability, Patrick Gavoty is responsible for defining Apheon’s approach to sustainability and supervising ESG initiatives in its portfolio companies and offices throughout Europe; he is also in charge of Apheon’s in-house foundation, Apheon Philanthropy. Patrick joined Apheon 12 years ago after 4 years spent at Goldman Sachs in London. Alongside his professional career, Patrick Gavoty has had multiple personal commitments both in large organizations such as UNICEF, the United Nations’ entity dedicated to children, where he was responsible in Paris for coordinating their youth program, and in self-developed charities in relation to underserved young people or children affected with cancer. In 2019, Patrick was awarded with the ESSEC Pioneer Prize, which rewards each year the excellence, humanitarianism and societal commitments of a graduate of this French business school.

Philippe Dutertre

Born in 1962 Philippe Dutertre graduated from HEC Business School and IEP Paris (Sciences Po); he also holds a Master’s degree in industrial policy of the Paris Dauphine university.
He has spent his entire professional life in Asset Management, with roles as investment manager (DWS), asset owner (AG2R LA MONDIALE) and investment consultant (Bfinance).
He joined AG2R LA MONDIALE in 2006 and has been instrumental in developing the Group’s SRI franchise, Philippe is special advisor of the group’s Chief Investment Officer, vice-chairman of Solifap and alternate director of the French SIF.

Amélie Brossier

Amélie Brossier has more than 20 years of experience in investment and a unique track record in France investing in complex situations.
Prior to founding Aldebaran, Amélie was a Managing Partner at FCDE (2011-2020), a fund that supports the development and transformation of high-potential French SMEs and SMIs. There, she recruited and grew a team, led two funds in investment, as well as a successful fundraising. She led the investments in Récréa, UTAC, Weyou, Babcock Wanson, Tarsus France, Paris Society, Plastibell, TVN and Le Bélier.
Amélie was from 2009 to 2011 an Investment Director at the Fonds Stratégique d’Investissement (FSI) - now Bpifrance Mid & Large cap - and was previously Principal at Cinven where she stayed for 10 years and notably participated in the investments in Altice/Numericable, Ziggo, Eutelsat, Aprovia, Medimedia and Générale de Santé.
Amélie started her career at Bain & Company and Paribas M&A.
Since 2011, Amélie has been an independent member of the Board of Directors and Chair of the Audit and Compensation Committees of Gérard Perrier Industries, an SBF 250 listed company.
Amélie is a graduate of HEC Paris.

Damien Marty is a Principal in the Private Equity team at Ambienta based in Paris, focusing on sustainability-driven investments in France.
Before joining Ambienta, he led Tikehau Capital’s pan-European Private Equity Growth strategy, with an emphasis on the French small and mid-market, particularly in industrials, software, and tech-enabled services.
Previously, Damien established and led the corporate M&A team at CNIM, contributing to its divestiture program and strategic repositioning. He also worked at Air Liquide in the Asia Pacific region, supporting strategic projects and M&A growth initiatives.

Diplôme de HEC et d'un MBA de l'INSEAD, Alexandre a débuté sa carrière en 2001 en tant que consultant au sein de Bain & Company, à Paris puis à Londres, avant de rejoindre Groupama Private Equity (Acto) comme Chargé d’Affaires en 2006.
En 2008, il rejoint Montefiore Investment dont il devient Associé en 2016. Alexandre est notamment en charge des investissements dans les secteurs des services de Santé, du tourisme et de l'éducation.

Nicolas de Saint Laon is Head of Gimv France and in charge of the French investments of the Sustainable Cities platform. Gimv is a midcap pan-European investment company listed in Brussels and managing €2.0b with a current portfolio of 59 companies.
Before joining Gimv, Nicolas was Managing Director and Deputy Head of the leveraged finance team at Societe Generale CIB in Paris. He arranged more than 25 transactions in various sectors led the monitoring of 15 small and mid-cap portfolio companies.
Previously, he started his career at Arthur Andersen in Transaction Services and then joined Astorg Partners, a leading mid-market French private equity firm.
