International CFO Alliance
The International CFO Alliance (ICFOA) is a non-profit organization, founded in 2023 and registered in France as a non-profit under French law.
It brings together 14 national associations of Chief Financial Officers (CFOs), representing 20 countries across Africa, North America, and Europe.
The ICFOA’s mission is to promote collaboration between CFOs, improve global financial standards and practices, and encourage ethical and sustainable financial management.
Objectives and Mission
The ICFOA follows clear strategic objectives to serve the CFO profession globally. Its main missions include:
1. International collaboration: Facilitating exchanges between CFOs to share best practices and financial innovations.
2. Promotion of global standards: Supporting the adoption of ethical standards to improve global financial governance.
3. Professional development: Strengthening the international recognition of CFOs through standardized certifications.
4. Commitment to sustainable development: Incorporating ESG (environmental, social, and governance) criteria into corporate financial management.
Working Groups
The ICFOA’s actions are structured around five key working groups, each focusing on a strategic area:
